A fun recent highlight was driving with my son Liam for a late night flight to St. John's, Newfoundland... and California 103 played - for the first time - the cover of Radney Foster's song Godspeed (Sweet Dreams) that the hugely talented Brad Steckel (www.nevinpark.com) and I had reworked and given them as part of a 6-song demo EP. (Listen to it below).  They played it (all of it) - alot... thanks John and Chanine.

Before and since I have shared the stage with some brilliant players - including the sadly missed Robert (Bobby Day) Day. I am grateful to have shared the Eric Friedenberg bandstand with Bob Day for years. Love you, Bob!

This year, I continue to sing with the Eric Friedenberg Orchestra for private functions, and I work with some jazz duos around the city (please email me for details).

This summer I will be collaborating with my long-time friend and associate Emre uNal (www.emrecords.ca). We're going the busking route, for alot of really valid reasons, including not ever being late and being able to set up anywhere and sit on the tail of the truck.

We'll occasionally have special guests like Liam - who is 12 - joining in on snare drum, and Kyra - who is 10 - playing cello with us, and Emily (age 11) and Claire (age 9) singing, playing bass and chording on the keys. Looking forward to some great collaborative efforts, some of which we will post... so check back if you are curious. It will be raw and imperfect with lots of heart!
